Inflorescences of cymes, panicles or racemes. Flowers actinomorphic, bisexual, 4(-5)-merous. Corolla with a tube. Ovary superior, 2-locular. Style terminal with 2-lobed stigma. Fruit a capsule. Seeds winged or not.
