Description: Free-floating aquatic herb. Leaves in a rosette, densely velvety; base cuneate; apex truncate to emarginate; primary veins prominent, parallel. Inflorescences small, hidden among the leaves. Flowers unisexual; perianth segments absent. Fruit a small dehiscent berry.
