Description of the genus

Small epiphytic herbs, monopodial, pseudobulbs absent. Leaves fleshy, ligulate to oblanceolate. Inflorescences axillary, few to many-flowered. Flowers small, white, green or yellow on relatively long pedicels. Lip entire or 3-lobed, spurred. Column short; rostellum 3-lobed or bifid; pollinia 2.

Worldwide: 15 spp. in tropical Africa and Mascarene Is.
