Description:
Perennial bulb, growing annual stems up to 15 cm. The small, tubular flowers are surrounded by large boat-shaped bracts which are white with green stripes.
Notes:

Habitat: In high rainfall grassland and woodland.

Worldwide distribution: Ethiopia to South Africa and Angola
