Description:
Slender, erect perennial herb with annual unbranched stems up to 60 cm tall. Milky latex present. Leaves opposite, very narrowly linear, 1.6-5 cm long. Flowers axillary, 1-4 per node, whitish or yellowish-green with corolla lobes tinged brownish to purple, spreading c. 4 mm long, hairless. Corona with square-shouldered basal lobes and along and narrow. erect apical appendage. Fruit often developed c. 4 cm long, pubescent.

Worldwide distribution: Apparently only known from the Chimanimani Mts in Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
