Description:
Multi-stemmed, shrub-like perennial. Leaves linear, stiff. Flowers in axillary, peduculate clusters, creamy-white. Corolla lobes fringed with long silvery hairs.

Habitat: Along watercourses in hot, dry areas, often partly submerged when rivers are in flood.
