Description:
Climbing and twining perennial herb. Rootstock a cluster of cylindric or fusiform roots. Leaves opposite; petiole short; lamina up to 8 cm long, lanceolate to linear, tapering at apex and base, glabrous or minutely ciliate on the margin. Flowers in umbel-like axillary cymes. Corolla 2.5-3 cm long, straight or curved, greenish-yellow; tube inflated in lower half; lobes narrowly linear, connate at their apices to form a cage. Corona of 5 shallow pouches; inner lobes 1.5 mm long.

Habitat: Among trees on stony hillsides or sandy flats.
