Description:
Succulent perennial forming dense clumps up to 50 cm in diameter. Stems erect to decumbent, up to 12 cm long, grey-green usually mottled with purple. Inflorescences of 1-3 flowers together on a short peduncle, up to 5 mm long. Pedicels 8-10 mm long, ascending and then spreading holding the flower facing horizontally. Sepals ovate, 2-10 mm long. Corolla 35-50 mm in diameter, inside cream transversely and irregularly lined with red or maroon on the lobes, with a red thickened shiny annulus; tube 6-7 mm long with mouth formed by the raised annulus; lobes deltate, 10-15 mm long and 15-20 mm wide at the base.
