Description:
Prostrate or erect, herb. Leaves linear-oblong to ovate, hairy; base cuneate to shallowly cordate. Inflorescences axillary, 1-3-flowered; bracts pilose. Corolla small, up to 12 mm long, funnel-shaped, white or cream. Capsule, spherical, pilose. Seeds appressed-pubescent.
Notes: Both the herbarium specimen photographed, E. Mashashe 29, and the plant photographed by Helen Pickering near Victoria Falls are of erect plants with solitary white flowers. Specimens with more flowers per inflorescence and with a prostrate habit look somewhat different.
