Description:
Straggling herb occurring in forest margins. It is superficially similar to D. extenta but can be distinguished by the terminal inflorescences which bear a whorl of numerous flowers while in D. extenta the flowers are solitary.
Darbyshire in FZ 8(6) gives details of 3 forms. However, as our site does not allow for forms, all 3 have been combined here.
