Annual herb. It differs from the somewhat similar Bidens pilosa in the more finely divided leaves with narrowly lanceolate leaflets, and the yellow ray-florets. |
| Notes: | Not mentioned for the Flora Zambesiaca area at all in Wild's account of the genus in Kirkia 6(1), pp. 13-34, which was published in 1967. It is a fairly recent arrival in Zimbabwe, now (2005) spreading rapidly in disturbed places. |
