Description:
Shrubby or somwhat scrambling perennial suffrutex up to 1.2 m tall. Stems woody near the base, white woolly-tomentose, especially when young. Leaves deltoid-reniform in outline, deeply 5-7 lobed, often with 1-2 lateral pinnae-wings below the main lamina, up to 5.5 × 6.5 cm (excluding the lateral pinnae), green with some white-woolly hairs above, densely white woolly-tomentose below; venation prominent; petiole (including the lateral pinnae) 2-7.5 cm, with distinct auricles at the base. Inflorescence branched, compactly corymbose. Capitula with ray florets, yellow.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: pulchra: beautiful.
Habitat: Among rocks or in ericoid scrub, usually in the higher mistbelt montane areas.
