Shrubs or trees. Leaves opposite, entire, with glandular dots. Indumentum stellate or dendritic. Inflorescence a corymbose panicle. Flowers bisexual. Sepals 5, glandular. Petals 5, hairy inside Stamens in 5 fasicles alternating with fasciclodes. Ovary 5-locular. Styles 5. Fruit a drupe with 5 coherent pyrenes.

Worldwide: 1 species from tropical Africa to Mauritius
