| Notes: | As far as is known, this is the only species of Hedychium which is naturalised in Zimbabwe. The seeds are spread by birds (BW, pers. comm.). Henderson (2001), p. 48 gives a drawing and other useful information about this species and three others which are naturalised in South Africa. |
