Description: | Tree to 5 m. Leaves up to 10 × 1.5 cm, evergreen, glossy, linear to linear-lanceolate, dark green, acuminate with an acute apex; secondary veins conspicuous on both surfaces. Flower bright yellow, pinkish yellow or orange, to 5 cm across. Fruit up to 7 cm in diameter. Similar to Cascabela thevetia, but may be distinguished by its darker green leaves with conspicuous lateral veins and its larger flowers in which the corolla lobes are much more widely spread. |
