Synonyms:
Common names: Forest bell bush (English)
Description: Height 1-4 m. Leaves elliptic, shiny dark green above, with reddish-purple domatia in the axils; apex attenuate with a drip-tip. Inflorescences of one-sided lax terminal racemes up to 15 cm long. Corolla: tube 4 cm, narrow; lobes pale lavender, with central and lateral purple markings.

Worldwide distribution: South Africa (Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape) and Eswatini.
