Description: | Tree up to 15 m tall. Trunk erect up to 3 m in diameter, branching dichotomously many times. Leaves in compact rosettes at the apices of the branches, spreading and recurved, 60-90 cm long, uniformly dull green, deeply channeled; margin with whitish, often brown-tipped teeth. Inflorescences 1 from each rosette, usually 2-4 branched, up to 60 cm tall. Raceme erect, 10-30 cm long, densely many-flowered, cylindric; bracts 8-12 mm long, linear. Flowers 30-37 mm long, 3-sided-cylindric, pale yellow, orange-yellow or salmon-pink. |
