Description:	Tall woody climber. Leaves broadly ovate-triangular, acuminate, glabrous above, white-tomentose beneath. Perianth-limb huge, 16-30 × 15 cm, 2-lobed at the base, without a ‘tail’, maroon with paler whitish net-veining. Fruit 8 × 3 cm. glaucous.
