Description: | Small to medium deciduous tree. Inflorescences of corymbose cymes. Flowers short-stalked, bisexual, white. Fruit yellow or pinkish-yellow, shiny, ovoid or ellipsoid drupe, surrounded at the base by the persistent saucer-shaped calyx. Pulp becoming viscid on ripening. Inner hard stone 1-4-seeded. |
