Description: | Tree to 20 m. Leaves: petiole stout, 3-12 cm long, swollen at the base and apex; lamina oblong to obovate, 16-50 × 5-15 cm, glabrous above, sparsely hairy beneath; margin with glandular serrations; apex acuminate. Male inflorescences 40-65 cm long; petals 5, 6-9 mm long; stamens many. Female inflorescences terminal, 18-50 cm long; ovary densely pale brownish-yellow and stellate. Capsule spherical, 2.5-3.5 cm in diameter. |
