Description as for the family

Derivation of name: Named after Wilhelm Friedrich Georg Behn (1808-1878), German anatomist and zoologist, professor at the University of Kiel and director of the zoological museum in the same town.

Worldwide: A single species in southern Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Eswatini and South Africa (Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal and Western and Eastern Cape).

Zimbabwe: 1 taxon.
