Scandent shrubs. Leaves: lamina elliptic; petiole articulated. Inflorescence racemose with imbricate bracts. Flowers minute. Calyx annular. Petals reflexed. Disk glands fleshy. Fruit ellipsoid.

Worldwide: 2 species in the Old World tropics

Zimbabwe: 1 taxon.
