Leaves alternate, small, simple; lamina obovate to cuneate, apex rounded to truncate, base cuneate, margin dentate especially along upper margin, up to 15 x 8 mm, dull green, abaxially 3-veined at base, densely pubescent-glandular, adaxially glabrous; petiole 2 mm long. Flowers: solitary, axillary, campanulate, slightly pendulous, small, 3 mm in diameter. Petals 5, slightly imbricate, free, bright magenta-pink, slightly recurved at apices. Sepal 5, free, minute, 2 mm long, persistent. Peduncles exceptionally slender 1.5-2 cm long, persistent; pedicel articulate, 2-3 mm long.
