Caprivi0Namibia (Caprivi Strip)1724D4 010 m high; Tree; Notes: Tree, 10 m tall, has been broken by elephant. With 2 tiny babies and about 4 sub-adults. Bark dark, longitudinally fissured, reddish-yellow in the cracks. Younger branches yellowish-red and longitudinally fissured. Canopy spreading leaves in typical Terminalia rosettes. Very large, velvety on both sides. Darker above than below. Flowers in spikes, 5 pointed bells with lots of stamens. Green coloured. Pods typically Terminalia.
