Notes: As Commelina erecta livingstonii in BNRH. A sub-erect herb with glabrous leaves with lighter coloured midrib. Spathes and leaf sheaths hispid. Spathes terminally clustered, producing ink-blue-flowers. Locally common in open short grassy area, occasionally mown.
