| Notes: | Graminoid; Notes: Perennial grass, up to 1.5 m when in flower. Culm slender, mostly erect, bright green, canaliculate, glabrous. Leaf blade ca. 20 x 2 cm, soft and tender, bright green with scattered white adpressed indumentum. Ligule with dense, white indumentum. Leaf sheath with very dense long white indumentum especially conspicuous along margin, somewhat imbricate. Inflorescence an open panicle, 30 cm long. Borne on slender, glabrous peduncle, 2 mm long, ovoid, glabrous; stalks slender, twisted. In Terminalia sericea woodland. |
