Description:	Perennial with prostrate branches growing from a strong and deep taproot. Leaves round to kidney-shaped in outline, 1-6 cm wide, unlobed or shallowly 5-6-lobed, sparsely strigose hairy on both surfaces, often with simple hairs above and stellate hairs beneath; margin crenate-denticulate; petiole 3-20 cm long, softly stellate hairy; stipules ovate-acuminate. Flowers in up to 4-flowered clusters. Epicalyx lobes 3, linear-lanceolate, 3-4 mm long. Calyx 5-7 mm long, lobed to about the middle, stellate hairy. Petals 3-10 mm long, whiteusually with mauve or purplish tinge towards the apex and on the veins. Fruit 6-8 mm in diameter with 12-15 mericarps, stellate hairy.

Notes:	Only known from one record in South eastern Zimbabwe but more common in South Africa.
