Description: |
Tufted perennial, sometimes with a rhizome 1─2 mm thick bearing crowded slender culms 0.2─1 m tall. Leaves 1─2 mm wide, glabrous or slightly hairy. Inflorescences 3─10 cm long, simply spicate or sparsely to strongly branched, the branches 3─5 cm long, glomerules close-set of 2─9 blackish spikelets. |
