Description: |
Perennial, growing from a large bulb. Leaves just appearing at time of flowering. Inflorescence spherical, many-flowered. Flowers white with a reddish-pink central line on the lobes. |
Notes: | A species superficially similar to Ammocharis and Boophone but with distinctly asymmetrical flowers without or with a very short tube. There is only one record (R.N. Davies s.n.) from near Beitbridge at the National Herbarium (SRGH). |
