Description: |
Bulbous perennial. It often grows in stagnant water, forming extensive colonies. Leaves narrow, less than 5 cm wide, and arching, folded along the length into a U-shape. Flowers more or less erect, white, usually without any pink or red markings once open. Fruits not beaked. |
