Description:
A slender species, up to 80 cm, growing from small corms. Leaves linear, reaching to the base of the inflorescence. Inflorescence up to 18-flowered; bracts turning pale brownish and dry at flowering time. Flowers pale greenish yellow; markings in the lower tepals small or absent.
Notes: Endemic to Zimbabwe on the basis of known records

Habitat: Serpentine grassland and woodland

Worldwide distribution: Apparently endemic to the hills near Mutare; it may occur just across the border in Mozambique
