| Description: |
Rather slender herb 40–65 cm tall, drying dark brown or almost black with ellipsoid tubers. Leaves 6–8, along the stem, lowest sheathing, lanceolate, up to c. 9 cm long. Inflorescence laxly 2–12-flowered, 11–20 cm long. Flowers green. Dorsal sepal erect, ovate, 10.5–12 mm long, convex; lateral sepals sharply reflexed and curled, obliquely lanceolate, 10–11 mm long. Petals lanceolate, 7–12 mm long, usually with a small lateral lobe near the base, lying inside dorsal sepal. Lip 3-lobed; claw 2–4 mm long; mid-lobe linear, 10–13 mm long, reflexed; side lobes 10–13 mm long, projecting forward, dentate at the apex. Spur 20–25 mm long, tucked into bract. |
