Description:
Epiphyte with 8 -10 leaves forming a fan, the bottom parts clasping a short stem. A number of inflorescences arise just above the roots, each spike carrying two rows of pale creamy green flowers, which point outwards. Each flower measures about 11 mm across and has a 3-lobed, crucifix-shaped lip.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: tricuspis: refers to the three sharply pointed lobes of the lip
Habitat: In Brachystegia woodland.
