Description:

Glabrous evergreen tree to 25 m tall. Canopy dense. Leaves bright green, glossy above, pale blue-grey beneath, pinkish on young growth, smelling of camphor when crushed, 3-veined from the base; buds enclosed by large overlapping scales. Flowers yellowish or greenish-white, tiny, borne in axillary panicles. Fruit a bluish-black berry. |
