Description: |
Succulent perennial herb, up to 20 cm tall, growing from a succulent or woody rootstock, often forming distinctive patches. Leaves sessile, usually in dense rosettes at the ends of branches, fleshy and often reddish. Flowers in dense terminal heards, 5-merous, white or cream, sometimes flushed with pink. Fruit less than 2 mm long (in this subspecies). |
