Description:
See var. hildebrandtii for general description. This variety is distinguished by the leaflets being densely pubescent on both surfaces.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: hildebrandtii: named after J.M. Hildebrandt (1847-1881), German Botanist and collector in East Africa and Madagascar.
pubescens: with short soft hairs, velvety, pubescent.
