Description:
Decumbent, sprawling perennial herb with stems up to 1 m long. Most parts glandular hairy. Leaves sometimes apparently opposite, very broadly ovate, more or less 3-5-lobed; margin crenate, often tinted purple-red. Flowers in leaf-opposed or axillary, 2-5-flowered pseudo-umbels, white to pale pink with dark purple-red markings; spur 6-11 mm long.
Notes: Though not listed in Kirkia 18-2 (Mapaura, 2002), it is apparently near Endemic.
Derivation of specific name: mossambicense: of Mozambique
Habitat: Among rocks in montane grassland and along the margins of evergreen forest.

Worldwide distribution: Eastern Zimbabwe and Mt Gorongosa, Mozambique.
