Description:	Evergreen shrub or small tree, introduced as an ornamental hedge. Leaves dark, glossy green, oblong. Flowers in large terminal panicles, white, heavily scented. Fruits in large clusters of shiny black berries.
Notes:	The fruits and leaves are poisonous. It is known as a naturalised escape, particularly around Harare.
