Description:
Perennial herb, growing from tuberous roots. Stems prostrate or semi-erect; leaves linear. Flowers in terminal inflorescences; petals reflexed, grey-green. Corona lobes overtopping the central column (style tip).
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: eminens: standing out, referring to the protruding corona.
Habitat: A species of grassland and rocky hillsides.
