| Description: |
Twining semi-succulent stems to 2.5 m. arising from fibrous or fleshy roots. Corolla cream with purple speckles, with a slightly swollen base, the tube curved upward at a 90 degree angle; expanded towards the mouth where the lobes are united forming a small united column. |
| Notes: | It is distinguished from subsp. lugardiae by the more pubescent flowers and the lack of the more elaborate "lantern-like" union of the corolla lobes. |
