Unarmed erect herb with weak stems and edible underground tubers. Leaves up to 25 cm, imparipinnate, with 3-5 pairs of large ovate leaflets and with scattered smaller ones in between. Inflorescence a cluster of flowers. Calyx lobes linear-lanceolate, about 1/3 the length of the corolla. Corolla c. 2.5 cm across, white or bluish. Fruit globose, yellowish or green, rarely produced. |
