Description: |
Perennial herb, branching from the base; stems erect or procumbent, up to c. 70 cm long, glandular-pubescent. Leaves opposite becoming alternate upwards, elliptic or ovate, c. 8-19 mm long, glandular-pubescent on both surfaces; margin with 4-5 pairs of teeth; petiole c.3-7 mm long. Flowers solitary in axils of upper leaves, together forming panicles in well-grown specimens. Pedicels c.8-18 mm long. Calyx somewhat 2-lipped; lobes 2.5-3.7 mm long, glandular-pubescent. Corolla 7-8 mm in diameter, white or mauve with a yellow throat; tube 7-9 mm long, funnel-shaped, glandular-hairy outside. Capsule 24 mm long. |
