Description:
Erect, or prostrate perennial herb, often somewhat scrambling. All parts glandular hairy. Leaves ovate-oblong, pinnatifid-lobed; margins sometimes finely crenate-serrate. Short petioles narrowly winged. Flowers in terminal racemes or solitary in the leaf axils. Corolla small (tube 3.8-5 mm), yellow.

Habitat: Along riverbanks and seasonally dry riverbeds, also as a weed of cultivation.
