Notes: | Known only from the type specimen (Fries 99), which was found on July 27 1911, in crevices of dry rock along the gorge below Victoria Falls. It is said to resemble J. huillana in habit, foliage and indumentum but with very different white flowers. In July, when it was collected, the specimens were mostly in fruit, with only few flowers still present. The holotype is now held at the Upsala Herbarium (UPS). |
