Description: |
Somewhat fleshy, hairless or glandular-pubescent annual herb 20-40 cm long with creeping stems, rooting at the lower nodes, then erect. Leaves 35-70 mm long, opposite, mostly sessile, clasping the stem, ovate to lanceolate-oblong; margin shortly toothed to sub-entire; petiole only distinct in lowermost leaves. Inflorescences consisting of axillary many-flowered racemes 3.5-10 cm long. Corolla c. 4 mm in diameter, more or less pale blue with darker stripes, mostly 4-lobed. Capsule ± circular, slightly emarginate, usually slightly longer than wide. |
