Description:
Scrambling shrub, occasionally a small multi-stemmed tree. The small fruits are beaked capsules, splitting into 5 valves, ejecting the seeds.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: harveyi: after Dr William Henry Harvey, 1811-1866, Irish botanist in South Africa.
Habitat: Understorey of evergreen submontane forest.
