Description: |
Perennial herb, growing from a woody roostock. Stems erect or semi-erect up to 60 cm. Leaves in whorls of 5-10, linear-oblanceolate with strongly recurved margins. Inflorescence dense, many-flowered. Flowers cream to pale yellow. |
Notes: | Two varieties are found in Zimbabwe, var. bussei has whitish hairs on the stems and leaves, while var. glabrum Brenan is mostly hairless. |
