Description: |
Slender or bushy erect annual herb, up to 80 cm tall, or procumbent perennial with trailing stems to 1.2 m long. Leaves opposite, becoming alternate on the upper stem, sessile, linear-elliptic, narrowly oblong or oblong-lanceolate, up to 8 × 2 cm, sparsely, somewhat bristly hairy above, densely matted with silvery-white appressed T-shaped hairs below; margin entire. Capitula numerous, small, in cymose clusters. Involucral bracts numerous, green, bristle-tipped. Florets discoid, mauve to purple. Pappus 0. |
