Description: |
Perennial herb or small subshrub, up to 20 cm, much branched and woody at the base. Leaves needle-like in tufts along the stems. Capitula terminal; disc flowers yellow, surrounded by numerous white ray flowers. The ray flowers are often rolled up in older capitula (image 2). |
Notes: | Two other subspecies are recognized, occurring in Botswana and South Africa. |
