Description: |
Perennial herb with fibrous roots. Two types of stems grow from the rootstock: main stems erect, unbranched, up to 90 cm tall; additional stems prostrate, stoloniferous, producing numerous flowering branches. Basal leaves and those of prostate stems, narrowly oblanceolate or elliptic, subpetiolate with serrate margins and acutely mucronate apices; leaves on erect stems progressively smaller, sessile, margins subentire to serrulate. Inflorescence with long branches, capitula hemispherical, yellow, involucral bracts green. |
